Update from the IRD re: PayDay Filing
Good Morning.
We have recently made a change to the way future dated payday returns are processed.
We have changed the way we process early filed Payday returns. This is because processing these when received causes a number of downline issues with the processing of deductions such as Student Loans, Child Support and KiwiSaver.
Customers can still file their Payday returns with a future pay date, but the system will only process them once we reach that pay date. On your customer’s myIR, the returns will show “Processing” until the pay date.
