With COVID-19 Omicron making it’s presence felt near and far, it is a timely reminder of what financial assistance is available to employers to help pay their staff.
Leave Support Scheme – is for staff who are self isolating due to positive test or close contact or have been advised by the Ministry of Health to do so. This is paid at $600 for +20 hour per week workers or $359 for -20 hour per week workers.
Short Term Absence Payment – is for staff who are waiting on test results and are unable to work from home while isolating.
