Important changes that will affect payroll effective from 1 April 2023.
Minimum Wages Increases:
Minimum Adult Wage changes from $21.20 to $22.70 per hour
Starting Out/Training Wage changes from $16.96 to $18.16 per hour
This comes into effect on the Saturday.
ACC Levy Changes:
The levy that every employee pays per $100 of income is increasing from 1.46% to 1.53%.
The maximum income liable for ACC levies is increasing from $136,544.00 per annum to $139,384.00 per annum.
Student Loan Threshold Changes:
The protected income before repayments for student loan is increasing from $21,268.00 per annum to $22,828.00 per annum.
Weekly: $409.00 to $439.00
Fortnightly: $818.00 to $878.00
Monthly: $1,772.33 to $1,902.33
